The worst of them were the adders, so he took a table that had been made out of logs and tied it off as a raft behind the Ark and put all of those snakes on it. One day as he was giving a math lesson to the children he saw that they were all sneaking peaks at the raft floating behind the Ark and giggling. Sure enough, when he looked over the stern he saw that the snakes were mating.<br /><br />Never one to miss a lesson, he told the kids, "See? Even adders can multiply on a log table."<br /><br />(Anyone who needs this joke explained also needs a refresher course in mathematics.)Blackwing1noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5837660608809488753.post-66879799799454342932017-06-25T11:21:51.723-04:002017-06-25T11:21:51.723-04:00...And then she realized most people don't hav......And then she realized most people don't have much of a mental image for "log table," at least not one that doesn't consist of rustic joinery.Roberta Xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09956807794520627885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5837660608809488753.post-36231825199787343852017-06-25T11:20:10.042-04:002017-06-25T11:20:10.042-04:00Have you ever tried to stay awake without coffee w...Have you ever tried to stay awake without coffee while using a log table?Roberta Xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09956807794520627885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5837660608809488753.post-15621319565012493962017-06-24T21:28:21.803-04:002017-06-24T21:28:21.803-04:00I thought it was logarithms that did it.I thought it was logarithms that did it.Josephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04720409839023747889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5837660608809488753.post-30541903008384600612017-06-24T14:30:38.127-04:002017-06-24T14:30:38.127-04:00Yep, we ARE lucky, no question.
