"Fewer moving parts means fewer broken pieces."

So true.

  1. A bowling ball has one moving part. If you break that part you are 2 things.

First, you are out of the bowling bidness.

And second, you are very impressive, and I want to shake the hand of one so skilled.

  4. Goodie, goodie, goodie. More Starship stories! That's one of my Xmas wishes.

  6. Crucis touches on what I was going to say: That's true even in software. Simple parts. Do one thing and do it well (the Unix way).

  7. Why they don't let me babysit anymore.

No matter what happens I try to fit into the evening:

"You happy now? You BROKE it!"

It ends in tears and nothing has to actually be broken...
