Yes, it's that time again: the Spring
Indy 1500 Gun and Knife show starts today.
Looks like Tam and I will be there Saturday -- if you see a couple of tallish wimmen, do say Howdy!
UPDATE: How could I not forget Shootin' Buddy, our host for the show? Look for the
man in a wookie suit dapper, confident, fit and smiling fellow accompanying two tall women. Say hello to him. Buy a gun from him. Unless he's sold it already.
Will you two be the ones wearing "Ask me about my garage door" T-shirts? :)
ReplyDeleteMmmm, gun show ... and me with NO money. :-(
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'll be going just to look, too.
ReplyDeleteI look at it the way some folks look at church; it's where I go to fellowship with my people. :D
...if churches had lap dances, wide screen HD pron, an open bar and cornucopia-sized crack pipes.
ReplyDeleteWhat about the wimmin's stunningly handsome driver and legal counsel. Shouldn't people look for him as well?
ReplyDeletePeople may need to buy a gun from him.
Shootin' Buddy
My dad told me he is flying in just for that show. Apparently it is well known to some of us southerners as one of the best shows in the USA.
ReplyDeleteKeep an eye out for an old geezer (80ish) in blue jeans, flannel shirt, red suspenders and an old boonie hat with his 82nd Airborne patch on the front of it.
You can't miss him. He's 6'-8" tall and runs about 260. He's a good old cuss. Much better tempered and mannered than I am.
I showed him pictures of you and Tam and told him to say hello if he sees you.
His name is also Joe (I'm Jr.) He's a likable old fellow and always a gentleman especially to the ladies.
He's retired and financially comfortable so he just takes a notion now and then to fly to any old gun show in the USA when he feels like it.
If you mention Assrot, he'll know who you're talking about although he's not big on the Internet and does not know about my blog.
Y'all have fun this weekend.
Joe
Joe, we'll look for him!
ReplyDeleteShootin' Buddy: Him? Who he? ;)
ANYBODY escorting you two ladies at a gun show would be smilin'!
ReplyDelete(And me stuck with the weekend duty.)
Ask Tam to find me another 296! $500 or less, please.
