Huffy Threats?

Read on HuffPo:
If you are wondering what Fox News is doing organizing anti-administration rallies around the country, its obvious strategy is to aggregate all the already existing opponents of Obama into one audience. An audience for Fox News. And to incite that audience into paroxysms of believed illegitimacy regarding the Obama presidency.

As I mentioned to a top Republican consultant with whom I had an early lunch before checking out the Capitol tea party, this is a time-limited strategy, as half the audience will be dead in the next 10 years. A proposition with which he rather ruefully agreed.

Emphasis mine. So, which is it? Ageism? A threat to send our nasty, anti-Big Brother selves to The Camps? A promise of civil war? Bizarre hyperbole?

Sheesh. Keep panicking, twits. It's funny as can be. Sign-wavin', motivating people, gettin' the vote out -- that's how the game is played and if it bugs you to see the other side at bat, that's 'cos you wanna be the only team on the field. Which is not how we play the game in the 'States.

WTF?

There are plenty of young'n's out there who aren't impressed by The Obama.

If they think this problem is going to "die out" conveniently in another decade, they have another think coming.

Several thousand people gathered for four separate Tea Parties in KC. One local TV truck was at ours (the largest group) and another station had their copter overhead the whole time. But comes the 10PM news, and none of the five stations in KC carried ANY mention of the Tea Parties. Instead, they had a street corner interview with a local liberal political activist who bemoaned how unpatriotic the Tea Parties were and how only racists and militia supporters attended them.

Talk like that from the libs could be a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Because those not enough to die in 10 years are in the office working to pay Obama's taxes.

I'd tell you what I really think about HuffPo but such language is not allowed here.

What is Fox News doing? I haven't watched in about seven years.

Half of them is the number they are planning on eliminating.

I don't recall any reports of busloads of Boy Scouts or elderly people being attacked at these gatherings...unlike what leftist protesters did at the RNC. Of course, the press didn't report any of the latter.

Among my earlier memories are staying up watching the stars wheel overhead and listening to the folks talking to people who got out of Europe ahead of Hitler. A lot of what I hear the left wants to do sounds uncomfortably close to the stories I heard of Munich, circa 1923. And Berlin, Stuttgart, and some other places.

Of course, Hitler had an advantage. Germany lost, and the Allies made Germany brutally disarm the civilian populace. So most Germans had no way to resist the NDSP. And by the time some had acquired the means they were NDSP members and no longer had the will.
