Best thing I've found is a pair of scissors ment for trimming bodies of radio control cars & trucks. The bodies are vacuformed out of the same clear plastic used for packaging, and due to the leverage (short blades, long handles) the scissors make quick work of opening stuff. Any hobby store the sells RC stuff should have them.

ReplyDeleteFor me, it's the following, essentially a heavy duty set of off-set shears.

Fiskars kitchen shears work well for me. Quicker than the can opener too.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteAviation snips work well, too
ReplyDeleteYes, I've used all the above.
ReplyDeleteCombine loss-prevention packaging with Asperger's Syndrome grandsons and the obvious solution is pre-presentation unwrapping.
What, just nip down to the basement and use the bandsaw.
ReplyDeleteProblem solved.
