December BlogMeet?

Who's got a free weekend? I'm giving 3 Jan 2010 serious consideration.

Update: Shermlock's got an excellent notion: A Pre-BlogMeet BlogMeet 20 December at Rock Bottom on 86th St (1500 hours?) and a 3 January BlogMeet. How's Brugge sound for the 3 Jan?

    Jan. 3rd. is cool.

    BUT if anyone is around Dec. 20th, I'd be cool with a pre-BlogMeet BlogMeet and meet over at the Rock Bottom on 86th St. as they have tapped an 'almost' Imperial IPA called Old Curmudgeon (a cousin of Old Grouch?) that is worth drinking.

    Probably works. So would the 20th of December, as suggested by Shermlock (and I like the proposed venue).

    "Old Curmudgeon" sounds like they had me in mind. Perhaps I should spend more time up there conducting optics and fluids experiments.

    If my dad drank beer I would get him a case of that stuff, just for the name. He's an oddly good-natured grouch.

    I may or may not be able to make it on the 20th. I have a lot of baking to do that weekend, and family obligations the day before. So put me down for a maybe.

    Maybe it's just me, but does anyone else get a weird vibe at Brugge? Like it's darker inside than it should be for the available lighting? Kinda gave me the willies last time.
