At The Hospital

Yep, Mr. Surgeon-man come to tally up blood levels,
(Gurney come and she want the good drugs)
He say Mom she be ready for the heart valves,
(Gurney come and she get the good drugs)
They take the Mom X and we're all waiting in the lobby
(Take good care Doc, bring me Mom safe home).

--Baby Bro went off to the chapel. He's Professionally Qualified to operate the machinery in there. Me, doggerel and hope is the best I've got.

  9. We're living in the future, and Indy has some good heart centers (I tend to believe in the power of competition to be the tide that raises all boats), so I am confident that you soon will be marveling at the speed of your mother's recovery. I don't pray, but I for damned sure do HOPE. And that hope is focused on you and yours, right now, Roberta.

Present her (and us) with some more doggerel, in the meantime!

  10. I do pray, when the subject warrants it (as opposed to Please, God, let me get a great parking slot at WallyWorld)...and this be one of those times.

When daylight come, MomX go home...

  12. Good wishes sent your Mom's way...

[note to self: Fatigue and worry seem to make Roberta channel Harry Belafonte. Best to avoid that in the future.]
