Visited Mom
Saw my Mother this morning. She's awake, off the ventilator, off most of the IVs and even out of her bed...at least as far as a recliner. She counts it as big progress (between naps) and so do I.
Yay! I know how nerve wracking this can be (my late Mom had her heart surgery 25 years ago, and I still remember parts of it clearly), so thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

ReplyDeleteGood to hear. You may be pleasantly surprised at how fast she bounces back.
ReplyDeleteBT,DT (but coughing, post-op, ain't fun).
One step at a time, but I'm glad to hear that your mom is moving in the right direction.

ReplyDeleteAny day with fewer foreign objects in your body than the day before, and feeling better about it, is a GOOD day.
Hope her recovery is fast and smooth.
