Looks like a happy family, pets and all. Be who you are -- and be proud!
Tam Paradise: Kincaid's.
It's a classic.
And this house, which used to have a classic pastel-white/black molding paint job, very Deco Future.
Current owners have gone a bit more South Beach but it's still a favorite.
(My first post with the forced switch to the "new" Blogger interface, which stinks. Change is bad, Google. It's evil.)
SOME people are reporting luck switching back to the old format. From your dashboard find the gear icon, click on it, and see if you have an option to switch back. Apparently not everyone has it.
ReplyDeleteI was forced, so I switched back.
ReplyDeleteRE the Gray House: Sorry, but it looks to me like it's part of some FEMA Camp. ; )
ReplyDeleteI want to put a row of those family cartoon stickers on the car, then put a black diagonal stripe across a few of them.
ReplyDeleteI saw the gear settings icon after I had posted that I was leaving Blogger. FWIW.
ReplyDeleteInlarged pic of Kinkaid's to read signage. NO BACON?? B-). JohninMd(help)
ReplyDeleteAlso re the gray house: it reminded me instantly of pictures I've seen of 1950s-vintage Air Force base housing. For enlisted men. Junior enlisted men.
ReplyDeleteThey really killed a lot of the charm with that paint job. Plus it's a lousy angle.
ReplyDeleteWait a minute those are family stickers?
ReplyDeleteI always thought they were victory icons ... you know like little swastikas on the side of a P51 cowl ...
...Aaaaand, so much for the old interface. Glad you mentioned it, I rarely look at the Dashboard...
ReplyDeleteTextpad also has a freebie version (you have to dig a bit for it on their site) though I've never tried it so I can't tell you how good/bad/easy it is to use.
ReplyDeleteOh, and you CAN still update from Blogger to WP, but instead of the direct transfer you have to use your Blogger settings to save backup to file, then use WP's upload from file.
