That Larry Correia, he'd do better if his viewpoint characters weren't so unlikely; C'mon, a physically-fit, physically-huge accountant who keeps fit and shoots well? Who'd believe that?
;)
...Doesn't he have another MHI or Grimnoir book comin' soon? Write faster, Larry! Write faster!
(Rereading the first Monster Hunter book right now.)
I think Larry said he's working on Monster Hunter Nemesis (alternate title Agent Franks vs. The World) right now. So yes, Larry, please write faster.
ReplyDeleteHey! He's not James Patterson!

I had only read the first two MH books, so for a recent conference trip, started at the beginning and just finished all four.
ReplyDeleteSee Larry write.
Write, Larry, write.
Faster, faster, faster!
His sequel to Dead Six, Swords of Exodus is out, as is the 3rd Grimnoir book, War bound.(magicly powered humans and airship pirates, fighting the Jap Empire and a magic-eating evil, yay!) Monster Hunter Nemesis will be released next summer. Annnd a bunch of shorts for sundry anthologies. Larry's a busy boy.....
ReplyDeleteYa know....
ReplyDeleteInstead of pestering the combat bean counter you could be wearing down a few Ticonderogas of your own and grant us mere humble readers a bit more of The Hidden Frontier (cue dramatic theremin music.

Yeah, if only--
ReplyDeleteI'm having a lot of trouble with that. The more I look at my work, the worse it is.
I can only suggest the obvious. Specifically that you have become your own harshest critic regarding your fiction.
ReplyDeleteI apologize for not having any simple solution that makes you smack your forehead and exclaim, "duh!" All I can say is that the story to this point has captured and held my interest and I keep an eye to the right hand of your page for updates. In no way do I want you to feel any pressure from me or any other free ice cream sucker. The words will come. Or they won't. Much like the weather you just have to take it as it comes.
