Long Slog

     I went into work -- North Campus -- a little after midnight.  I'm still at work (Main Campus) now and I'll be here until at least ten a.m.

     Oh, what fun!  But I did (with the help of a skilled tower worker) get one long-awaited task accomplished, so there is that.  And I'm considering some kind of Broad Ripple breakfast for my dinner.

     Whups, my five minutes are up!  Smoko's over.  See ya later.

    Did you get that buzzing cable replaced in the hour of the dead?

    I did -- or, rather, George did. (He looks like L'il Abner but is at least as clever as Sir Edmund Hilary). And now the little red flashenlight on the very tippy-top goes blink, blink, blink -- or at least it was so doing the last time I saw it.

    There's someone there all the time. You just give them the NOTAM number and ask them to please not tow the tower. ;)
