Samuel R. Delany's
The Star Pit was produced as a radio play in the 1960s, starring the young writer himself. One of the genuinely interesting things produced by Pacifica (WBAI, in this case) long before their recent descent beyond ordinary way-out-there-ness into ineffectual craziness.
