Ground chuck, sweet Italian sausage, onion, a fennel bulb, carrots and a Poblano pepper. Canned crushed and diced tomatoes, a few kalamata olives and some little red "sweetie" peppers from the deli.
Serve with Parmesan-Reggiano cheese over steamed yellow squash "noodles" that had a big lump of white truffle butter melted on them:
Man, that sounds delicious and the photos do it credit too. I just ate lunch so for now, it does not make me hungry.

ReplyDeleteI’ve been making this without the squash, the truffle butter or the cheese because once it’s done I can’t bring myself to wait for those “accessories” and usually (2 for 2 so far) eat it in for just two meals.
