Conversations With A Robot

     "Alexa, how do I get these cats to love one another and not fight?"*

     "I DON'T KNOW THAT."

     "Alexa, set a timer.  Ninety seconds."

     "TIMER SET FOR ONE MINUTE AND THIRTY SECONDS."

     "Alexa, define 'pedant.'"

     "PEDANT: ONE WHO IS OSTENTATIOUS IN THEIR LEARNING."

     "Close enough."

     "Alexa, who loves ya, baby?"

     "HELLO KOJAK.  ALWAYS A PLEASURE."

     Yes, she really says that.

* One way is to let the tomcat fight my hand a little!  Huck's careful to not hurt me but between speedy claw slaps and biting, it's clear he could.

    Asking Alexa to open the Pod Bay doors is responded to by "I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that."

    I tried open pob bay doors with Siri and got:

    Siri: What is this pod bay everyone is talking about?

    Smarty pants computer.
