If you haven't registered to vote, do so. Then go and actually vote. It matters. It counts. A whole lot of fools and people who just want to see it all burn will be voting and you ought to vote right back at 'em.
And it's a whole lot better than whacking one another over the head with clubs.
I vote in every local election, so automatically registered for the next few election cycles.
ReplyDeleteI go by Heinlein's dictum that there may not be anyone or anything you want to vote for, but you can always find someone or something to vote against.
Considering the generally low level of voter turnout, just showing up at the polls has more of an effect than some might think.
