Keyboard: Back
Taking my coffee-splashed keyboard as far apart as possible without prying at the switches uncovered pockets of coffee and gave me a chance to scrub the chassis and keycaps. After drying overnight, I put it back together yesterday morning and tested it last night.
So far, so good.

ReplyDeleteAnon, the return lever does the same thing as the "enter" key by default, and that's how I have left it. It can be remapped for other functions. Right platen knob scrolls the screen up and down, the left one controls speaker volume.
These are not inexpensive keyboards, but ordering one during their funding phase on Kickstarter put it within reach. The manufacturer runs occasional sales -- and they still cost about twice the price of the refurbished computer mine is plugged into. It's a lesson in the economies of scale: Qwerkytoys is a very small company.
