The notion came from a conversation at work with another tech-monkey, who sarcastically asked me what I had done that day to Save The Earth. Alas, when I 'splained I was "...saving Earth in old canning jars on the shevleves under the stairs," he opined that I was merely saving dirt.
Y'can't win. Try to do what the bumper stickers say and it just doesn't work out that easily!
