  1. It IS yummy!
I've got a set of those little white ceramic cups. Hmmmm... I wonder if I can get to the store right after work.

  2. I have a flan story. A few years ago my wife (then girlfriend) and I went to Costa Rica to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins. I had talked with my aunt about how excited I was especially since flan is such a big thing down there. She said she'd make me some.

Imagine my surprise when she pulled out a box of Jell-O (or whatever brand it was) Flan mix. She said nobody made it from scratch any more because the boxed stuff was just as good.

    Sadly, she was right.

  3. Turk Turon, those little white ceramic cups are called Ramekins.

Hey, you're right! I looked it up.
I have the traditional white Ramekins with fluted sides.
The last time I made scratch Flan it started by melting sugar in the Ramekins to make the caramel crust.
Gotta download a recipe. My son Tim and I will have Flan tonight!

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken. ;)
