Izzart.

By a chain of links and hops which should be fairly obvious (okay, it was via a rilly kewl post by Breda), I ended up at a very fine (mildly NSFW) Art Blog you may enjoy, if your taste in Art is skewed enough the same direction as mine.

I was hooked by the "flowers as critters" painting. Always did like tigerlilies and snapdragons!

Fans of Discworld might like this artist.

  2. Somehow I've managed to go all this time without reading any Discworld.

Can I still read your blog?

The Color of Magic is winging it's way through teh Intarweebs (via the magic of radio) to the Kindle as I type this.

  4. Why would it be prerequisite, Alan? --The books are great fun but they're not to everyone's taste.

Joseph: The Zallinger's nice, Chris Crites (which Breda linked to) is stunning, I like Ted Zourntos way more than I expected of abstract art. Melissa Forman's work delights me. Alan Aldrige seems very familiar and it was his floweranimals I mentioned in my blog post: wondrous! There's plenty more.

If you scroll down to "A Good Car Commercial," you're in for quite a treat. ;)
