Wooden Computing

It's all Staghounds fault! From his start, I ended up here and it was all over.

H'mmm, I may have to sell Tam's car to finance this. And that would be fatal.

  1. Want!

Of course, being me, I want to figure out how to build this stuff myself.

  3. Nice case, but I wonder about RF. I've seen various odd cases using fine woodworking here and there, and mice etc. as well. I imagine they show up from time to time in Taunton's Fine Woodworking, though it's been long enough since I looked through one of those, that I don't remember whether I saw any, back when I used to read it.

Not that I'm a skilled craftsman, but if I were to undertake making a wooden computer case, I'd probably lean more towards a Krenov type approach.

  4. well we could talk price....
I'm a passing fair carpenter. I've built over three dozen coffins, plus innumerable coffin motif cases for Gothy kids. It has it's pleasures. I get paid a lot of money, and I can look them in the eye and say with a straight face. "I can't wait to see you in it!"

Seriously, If you want to do a wooden case, let's talk!
