"Congress:" The Opposite Of...?

Prosperity, as it turns out. Didn't Mark Twain first posit this?

  1. Feeling better, m'dear?

No surprise at all. I dumped my entire 401k in cash and cash equivalents when the DemCong took over in 2007, when the Dow was at about 13,000. Now I am slowing buying my way back in.

Sell high, buy low. What can I say, I'm an economics geek, too.

Hope you feel signs of being on the mend when you wake up this morning.

That's a heck of an article.

  6. Glad you feel better!

If only Congress would stop meddling I'd bet both you and your 401K would feel better.

  7. A four-oh-what? Haven't get one; hourly didn't get them until last year, after I bought a house and locked myself into a budget with no real wiggle room; not that that's looked like such a bad idea so far, as most members lost money. We have a kind of weak pension, too; I'm figuring on having to trap pigeons in my old age.
