A reminder:

  1. Worst one I ever saw? A line about the tsunami that had "ravished" Indonesia, in an article at the Poynter Institute for Media Studies. Gah.

  7. Tim: Inequety's gross injustice refers to fairness, balance and such-like; iniquity's gross injustice generally refers to sin (see David's many pleas to blot out his iniquities in the Psalms).

  9. The Left generally believes that all inequity is iniquitous and behaves is thought the two terms were identical, as if a crime is committed when two persons put forth the same amount of effort but one receives a greater return that the other -- never mind that one of them baked an scratch-made apple pie while the other one, with precision, restraint and even a degree of artistry, threw up on the left-hand seat of '74 Corvette.
