Which Book Is Whose?

Of course, a nice thing about Roseholme is that either of us could be reading any of them. Who bought which one is pretty obvious. (Any of 'em look good to you? Go to Tam's blog; hit the Amazon.com link. Shop. Enjoy!).

  1. The early Colt pistols always remind me of Taxi in "Max Brand's" "Silvertip" Westerns.

Several of the anachronistic scenes between "Jim Silver" and Taxi feature an early Colt self loader. Silvers comments about the relative reliability of revolvers must have made an impression.

  3. I could see myself buying the history of the screw. One of the most important inventions of all time. Got it coming from the library.
