A Democrat's Tea Party Calculus

Very conventional thinking (but interesting nonetheless) found over at HuffPo. Among other things, the writer's overlooking the present wave of anti-incumbent sentiment -- and he doesn't look to have read much political history prior to 1980.

If I were advising RNC Chairman Steele, I'd be reminding him of what happened to the Whigs.

  1. If I were advising Steele, I would strongly suggest that he get out of the way and let somebody else do the job who knows how. He has just shown himself to be inept to put it politely. The party's coffers are down compared to where they were when he took office, and he has no plan. That is not what we need at this time. Steele has got to go, NOW!
