Smokable Guns!

Displayed in competition at the Family Arts building, Indiana State Fair, 2010, not one but two examples:Yes, they're tobacco pipes. Light one of these up at the next anti-Brady demonstration, for dual outrage....

  1. Interesting find, beautiful.

It might give some pause before saying, "Put that in your pipe and smoke it!"

  3. Do want!!-do you happen to know if these are for sale? It would complement my collection of Petersons quite nicely.

  4. Lovely Roberta, I forgot to ask, what holsters might be available for such fine smoking implements?

My inquiring briers and meerschaum might like to know.

Open carry would be best. After a bowlful, my pipes tend to get a bit warm.

  5. They did not appear to be for sale -- but they can't be the only ones (ahem).

I suspect a little antique browsing would turn up more.

  6. I question the wisdom of developing a habit of inserting any firearm-shaped thing into the mouth muzzle-first.

  7. Back when I smoked a pipe, I do the MacArthur bit with a corn cob if I backslide, I'd have loved to have one of those for my collection.

  8. Well, I only light up a meerschaum or briar every few months nowadays, so these would just add to the collection of interesting pipes... Be nice for Show and Tell @ Gun Bloggers Rendezvous, but, yeah, me too, I can't see sticking a gun-shaped object in my mouth either...
