Put That One In Your DSM-IV

Anarachnophobia: an obsessive, morbid fear of the lack of spiders.

Not to be confused with "Anoraknophobia," which is the title of some album. And/or the fear of anoraks.

  3. I am arachnophobic to a degree, but they actually listed a LACK of a fear of spiders as an actual illness?
Who wrote this, the U.S. Congress??

  4. No, no, Joseph, it;s the fear of not having spiders, not the lack of a fear of spiders.

And it's not in the DSM-IV. Not yeat, anyway.
