I'm A Genius

You betcha! Did I not say, "they'll turn out the lights on some highly-visible widows-and-orphans stuff?" Here's the headline: "No Social Security checks? Is Obama bluffing?"

Surprise, surprise, surprise.

Can we get the Emperor's horse in here as a Senator? Just for comic relief?

Ahhh, theatre!

  1. Wow, you must be psychotic, I mean psychic.

Well, if the Princips decides to start truly ruling by fiat, I think those of us out here in the hinterlands might be OK. It's our poor brethren caught in the fever swamp inside the beltway that will suffer the most. Imagine a lifetime of scrambling over the bodies of those you've deposed capped by being made obsolete when the Light Bringer decides he no longer needs a legislative or judicial branch.

  2. Meanwhile, the Fed announces QE3 and sends gold up $100 an ounce within a week. Print enough dollars, and soon we will be able to heat our homes by burning dollar bills for fuel.

  3. Hey, at least they are asking if Captain Bullsh*t is bluffing. I would expect this headline:

"GOP plans to stop Grandma's check over budget battle"

  4. In totally unrelated news, the Minnesota shutdown is forcing MillerCoors products off the shelves.

  6. @Loki,
    Shutdown's over.

Ain't it amazing how fast things got resolved once the absence of government began interfering with important stuff!

  9. Good point. Most of the older and disabled people I know vote every election. He may have just shot himself in the foot. I bet his treats will cure a lot of voter apathy.
