Indiana Democrats have thrown over longtime House minority leader (and Speaker when his party was in the majority) Patrick "the Hair" Bauer for a younger and, I suppose, better-looking Representative, Linda Lawson of Hammond.
She's a former Hammond police captain but I'm sure readers will be shocked, shocked to learn she's no friend to gun-owners. NRA gives her a "D."
Her party appears to believe she may not quite have the same level of arrogance and control-freakery as her predecessor. Could be. On the other hand, Debbie Wasserman Schultz....
