Sick Day

Vertigo, stabbing muscle aches, elevated temperature: I'm thinkin' flu.  Whatever it is, I'm no good for the road.

--Add in chills. Nasty, ice-cubes-in-the-spine chills.  Gosh, isn't this fun?

(Worst so far: fifteen seconds of absolute sword-under-the ribs pain, so bad I couldn't take a breath.  Where's that even come from?)

  3. Take care of Roberta; the rest of us will have to keep the world turning for a couple of days.

Sounds like pleurisy, nothing to fool around with. Probably ought to see a doc and have it checked out.

  5. Just a lurker - Doesn't matter if anyone else sees this, but please take it seriously. I will worry, as will many others...

  6. Flu is one of those things that scare the crap out of me. The last time I endured the illness, I had some moments where I was thinking the best outcome would be passing on, instead of suffering an longer.

Take care, drink plenty of liquids, eat some chicken soup and don't hesitate to go to the doctor, if the feeling arises.

  7. I once had a pain like that. they took part out of me because of it. I did turn yellow before they figured out what needed to be removed.

Hope yours goes better, and my prayers go out for your health.
