I deal with Birthday Depression by forgetting that's my birthday altogether. Seriously, the only reason it penetrates my consciousness at all is that Mrs Drang keeps bugging me about it.
The bad part is, that means I also forget my sister's birthday. (Same date, two years later.)

Though I hardly know you, and you know me not at all, nonetheless I am grateful for your continued presence on this big blue ball.
ReplyDeleteBesides, I believe I am older than you and can attest that it is not that bad. Low Carb High Fat diet helps, as does regular moderate exercise.

ReplyDeleteI was just a bit down. I have fought depression on and off for decades. There are things that set it off. My birthday is one of them.
