Huge!

     Why is it rooms are so much larger when they're empty?

  1. Engine rooms always seem bigger than they need to be. Some manager invariably comments that it seems to large and that we could get more cargo room if we downsized it a bit. By the end of the job the growth, driven by the same manger, to increase capabilities is such that you've lost most of your maintenance envelopes. Then ops comes in and complains about your shoddy design and how they won't be able to work on any of the equipment....
