Modern antibiotics have gone -- have had to go -- so far down the "arms race" road against mutating bugs that the side effects have become genuinely hellacious. I'm starting Day 4 of the renewed antibiotic regimen and it's been miserable.
Sure hope this helps with the sinus/lungs issues. And the joint pain. Kind of thinking it has but it's too early to be sure.
Have you ever talked to a doctor about sulfa drugs instead of antibiotics? They have their own set of nasty possibilities, which is I why I am suggesting nothing more than talking about them.
ReplyDeleteAlso, antibiotics administered via an IV drip apparently don't have the digestive effects. But I don't know of a way to that outside of heing in a hospital, and that seems too extreme for the current situation.
I am allergic to sulfa drugs.
