Well, That Didn't Take Long
No sooner did we get out the colander polish than Congress decided to keep the Federal government running for another three weeks. Just in time for a tsunami!
I'm amazed that the Democrats not only didn't get what they wanted, they came out with less than they started with. I didn't think Mitch McConnell had it in him...
Technically, there was a tsunami WATCH, not a tsunami WARNING. ("I'm not a security guard, I'm a security monitor...") That type of quake rarely generates a tsunami, but it took long enough to establish the fact that the watch was issued. They don't set of the sirens for a watch... which explains why I slept through the whole thing.

That tsunami is just one example of what happens when there is no government to control it.
