Should go well until someone who is "not optimally educated" reports the "machine gun fire" coming from around the corner. Of course (dependent upon training level) the SWAT response just might be suitable entertainment for the enjoyment of said corn. Apply butter (or butter substitute) to taste.
At first I thought "Sure, why not?" On reflection, though, one would be popping over (at minimum) burning pressure-treated lumber. I guess I'd pass, though it's still kind of tempting.
