The bird(s) is in the oven, and a light brekky's on the stove. I'll be back here in about, oh, fifteen minutes to make a longer post.
Between rains in Indy, but there's a middlin' high, very dense mist or fog that has made Broad Ripple something like 1950s Venus, a warmish (!) fogbound, otherworldly place. It won't last; temperatures will cross freezing tonight and keep on heading down.

Wishing you a nice Thanksgiving Bobbi!
A pic with the bird and all the fixin's would be an apt update for Retro. (Love to see it.)
Wishing Roseholme a Happy Turducken day.
Google provides some interesting historical background to such culinary creations-evidently the traditional preserve of the well-to-do across the pond.
Wishing you and Tam a Happy Thanksgiving.
Ahh, 1950's Venus. I loved the steamy, foggy, jungle-bound vision that was so rudely thrust aside when we got landers onto the place and discovered a hazy acid washed desert with average surface temperatures that would cook your Thanksgiving turkey much too quickly.
Who'd have thought those beautiful white clouds would turn out to be sulfuric acid? Dang it.
