Yes, they did, yanking the rug out from under an NRA-ILA event in Wisconsin and then scurrying about like a headless chicken when they got called on it.
I will not be shopping at Gander Mountain unless their policies change. Too bad -- I bought a lot of my clothes and all my shoes there, along with ammunition and various sundries. No more!
Stop takin' gunnies for granted.

I gave up on Bass Pro due to their concealed weapon policy (at least in the Daina, Fl store) and liked the policy at Gander in Palm Beach. Don't like the prices at Gander though and now this. Looks like I can't shop anywhere anymore...
Wish we had a Cabelas.

I wonder if they actually ran the numbers:
"Hmmm... Only about [some number much less than 50]% of our business comes from the sale of firearms, ammunition, and related merchandise. So, I suppose that we can afford to - to some extent, anyway - p*ss off the NRA-types because we'll be still be OK with the backpackers, fishermen, hikers, and people who like to wear outdoor clothing while they are at the mall."
Somehow, however, I doubt it.
You'll be better off price wise not shopping at Gander Mountain too.
Road trip to Cabela's!
(Going by the Wheeling WV store tomorrow morning, as a matter of fact...)
Screwem... I'm going to Cabelas even if I have to order on line...
Damn you, Goose Hill!

What's Rick's like? Been meaning to check them out anyway. There's one close to the Broward Mall (well it used to be the Broward Mall). Don't know if there's any more northerly than that.
