I'm amazed that the Democrats not only didn't get what they wanted, they came out with less than they started with. I didn't think Mitch McConnell had it in him...
That tsunami is just one example of what happens when there is no government to control it.
And true to form, there was NO tsunami after the gubmint warned about it.

Technically, there was a tsunami WATCH, not a tsunami WARNING.
("I'm not a security guard, I'm a security monitor...")
That type of quake rarely generates a tsunami, but it took long enough to establish the fact that the watch was issued.
They don't set of the sirens for a watch... which explains why I slept through the whole thing.
