  2. A safety device. That way you see it and don't get caught up in the dangling cord.
    Seriously, I am more concerned about that assemblage of wood frame, plastic sheeting, and hoses/pipes to the right. What is the purpose of that?

  4. I'll go with battery charger. An extension cord might let them set the thing on an actual stable surface. The contraption to the side looks like a saw for cutting plywood sheets.

  5. Battery Tender -- a float charger, very nice gadget, which is another reason it's sad and wrong to hang it by the cables.

    The Implement Of Destruction to the left is a panel saw, a very handy tool if you have the space for it.
