To Whom It May Concern:

      I would only take medicine intended for fish as a desperate last resort, and you should do the same.  Especially with a class of illness where present best practices call for finding out the cause before commencing treatment.

Though I do know that certain preppers do have some "fish medicine" for use in the event of regional/national catastrophe. Not iodine, for "global, thermonuclear war" as far as I can tell...

No, it does not. Some veterinary medicines are similar -- essentially identical -- to human medicines. While they would certainly be useful in emergency conditions, it is always better to follow normal medical procedures whenever possible.
