Any more, I often look at the latest news and and think, "Okay, that's so askew and oddball that anything I can say about it would fade to invisibility in comparison."

Future is strange? Heck 75% of your blogs are strange but I enjoy them even in they piss me off. Your cooking blogs are great; your political blogs not so great, although most are right on the money. You write well, it is a joy to read correct English.
