The Lights Are On, But...
I'm set to "slow." So far today, I have assisted (in a very minor way) in bat rescue, ridden my pennyfarthing bicycle, checked out some new old safety glasses, had lunch with Mom and my brother, and...been kinda dozy.
Sounds to me like you had not merely a good day, but a productive day. Material outcomes are not necessarily the best way to judge how well your day was spent.
Yesterday was definitely a dozy day. I took a nap in the late afternoon, which is rare for me, since in order to take an actual restful nap, I have to use my CPAP.
Probably a good thing I did, since I ended up reading till midnight, the kitten jumped on me at 1AM, and my wife's alarm went off at 6...
Anyway, glad you had a good day. After all the tsuris you've been through lately, you certainly deserved it :)
Still wanting a pic of your pennyfarthing. As a young guy, I couldn't be pried off my bike, except for food or sleep. Age, size and sloth have made me an appreciative observer instead of a participant.

Keep Calm and Ride On.
