Good Morning!

I'm headed for the kitchen, to make a kind of Breakfast Hash incorporating bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, mushrooms, leeks and probably cheese and diced radishes as a topping. Maybe carrots, too. Washed down with good, Chemex-brewed coffee.

Yum!

Egg in a nest (toad in a hole to you), lightly buttered; 1 slice Trader Joe's uncured turkey bacon; 12 oz. Trader Joe's Columbian coffee, brewed to furniture-stripping strength with two spoonfuls of sugar and 1-2 tablespoons of 2% milk. All for less than 300 calories. Booyah.

Yours still sounds better. >_<

Sounds good; I'd probably dump some jalapeƱos on top to round it out.

Chemex was new to me so I had to Google it and have learned something new - I am more of a "French Press" man as I believe you colonials call them.

The breakfast sounded awesome.

I have a great fondness for breakfast -- my various sorts of "breakfast hash," or Swedish pancakes (nearly crepes), popovers or French toast, especially. (Oooo, one could load up popovers with breakfast hash... H'mmmm. Lotta work but so worth it).

Coffee, when I want take a break from the Chemex, I have a vacuum brewer. Alas, not this one. Yet.
