Borrowed from the Spanish Civil War.

I hope it will be taken in the over-the-top sense in which it is meant.

LOVE the poster. You are so creative. I should make it, unless the batphone rings.

Do you use some easy software for making these poster alterations, or is it some complicated thing?

Bobbi: Absolutely LOVE the poster, but unfortunately I, together will allied souls, shall be on our way south and west to do battle in the darkness with those dastardly FERAL SWINE. (In this instance, a LITERAL translation.) :)

Shall post images upon our return...

All The Best,

Staghounds: Are Windows Paint and Word complicated? :)

The trickiest thing is the copy-and-paste to cover the old lettering with matching color/pattern/texture. After that, I just pull it into Word, layer the graphics using Word Art (part of the standard package), and sceencap it back into Paint. A lot of steps but no fancy tools required and because the end product is usually smaller the the originally-edited source, flaws are minimized.

Will be driving back from points south, but will make it if I hit town on time.

Can't make it. Gotta Teach Monday Morning. Don't need to inflict that on my audience. Next time.

I might try to make it to the Indy 1500. Don't think I can make it there before noon. Will you be at the show on Sunday?

Roberta X said...

It is very likely I'll be at the 1500 -- I am hoping to attend Friday and Sunday, at least.

look for me, and MidwestChick, and probably a friend.

We aren't selling at the Indy1500, so we should be at the meet on time....

If I'm late, order me a beer.

Roberta X said...

Will do!

...Though by Sunday afternoon, we may all be hunting "feral swine." Ahem.
