Though I hardly know you, and you know me not at all, nonetheless I am grateful for your continued presence on this big blue ball.
Besides, I believe I am older than you and can attest that it is not that bad. Low Carb High Fat diet helps, as does regular moderate exercise.
I am so glad to have met you IRL and your knowledge of all things old school radio I have found very useful. I'll be Fifty *something* next month. Please stay here. I would miss you.

I deal with Birthday Depression by forgetting that's my birthday altogether. Seriously, the only reason it penetrates my consciousness at all is that Mrs Drang keeps bugging me about it.
The bad part is, that means I also forget my sister's birthday. (Same date, two years later.)
Whoa, let's take it down a notch -- if I was planning on taking the early exit option, I wouldn't be moaning about it here!
I was just a bit down. I have fought depression on and off for decades. There are things that set it off. My birthday is one of them.
Somebody say somethin' funny.
So, this penguin is driving around the countryside in his Triumph TR3 and starts having engine trouble--
