I'm Awake

Hooray!  And my house didn't explode!  --Sadly, not everyone in Indy can say that.

    Cause unknown.   Drone strike?

That's a bit big for a meth lab explosion. Also, not really a meth lab kinda neighborhood.

Cleveland area went through a few of those house explosions over the last few years. Most of them turned out to be Natural Gas leaking from the pipes and pooling. Aging Infrastructure, you know.

Or as Neil Young once sang "Rust Never Sleeps."

Just glad it wasn't your place.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Here, here. Although I fear the faith is broken beyond repair......

Every so often, some bright spark (you should pardon the expression) gets the idea to tap the gas line before the meter. An undiagnosed leak is more likely, though. I will pray for the dead, wounded, and homeless. It's about all I can do right now.

Glad to hear it wasn't you guys...saw the story on the weather channel and was worroed there weren't THAT many houses in Indy with the kind of supplies that blow up.

If it was caused by a drone, I'd know who to suspect!
