Mr. Funk? Mr. Wagnall? Mr. Bueller? Anyone?
I have -- albeit reluctantly and late -- come to the conclusion that most Congressbeings (and their State, County and City level counterparts) view their office as a defalcatory responsibility.
Historically "government" has existed so a few could live at the expense of many. Why would our government be any different?
From the lowliest party hack in city politics, to the President of the US and all the hangers-on who ride their coattails, they all feed at the same trough. They are lairs and con artists who disdain honest work and look down on the hand that feeds them.
