So That's What Happened

Seems a Sitemeter change "improvement" found a bug in Internet Ex-plodder. All right then.

This is one of the problems with complex systems: they break in places nobody's looking. All the more money and power for us geeks.

More like they didn't fully test their changes before they put them in production. I mean, if they didn't even test out their changes on the most-used browser, then they have a pretty flakey development team.

In some segments, there's a perception that no one who's rilly kewl would use IE -- despite the fact that it is out-of-the-box convenient for Windows users.

...and on the same weekend as Google's Splog fiasco, too. At least it provided material for lots and lots of posts.
