Maybe I'm getting a partial upper plate today, maybe I'm not -- I've been having some problems with the Permanent Mess in my upper left jaw that may slow things down.

If there's any wire in that thing it may do weird things when exposed to the kinds of RF fields in the Starship's core... A tongue-zap would suck...

My mouth has been full of metal since I was a child. Fillings -- my family never thought braces were sensible, well, affordable. If zapping were likely, it would have happened already. You know what else is very conductive? Saliva.
