Writing

     Spent the morning working on a new story, trying to get the general idea on paper.  I have several in the works, but this one is something I'd been toying with and it took form.  The recent extrasolar visitor 'Oumuamua is far too good a fit to Far Edge reconnaissance patrols to pass up -- but it's too slow, tumbling, and years late.  What could have happened?

     That, you see, is a story.

Oumuamua was extensively covered by AC Clarke in 'Rendezvous with Rama' back about 40 years ago...

I'll bet you guys take all the air out of a room when you enter. Put it back, people were breathing it. And leave Bobbi alone, she's creating.

Most excellent to hear your muse is waking up!

There is money in the book fund waiting for your next opus.

'Oumuamua is much smaller than Rama and appears to be less regularly shaped. Also, I'm not Clarke.

The Legend Of The Lost Ship. Fill in the details you like. To me, it has a bit of a Nivenish tang.

{Rama series}

"Three times as I recall."

The line blurs, but it's a few more. Gentry kinda took it over from Clarke and went in a bit different direction.

I kinda lost interest after the first 2 of 'em...
