I've done curbside pickup and like it well enough when I don't have time to go into the store or they are in lockdown. It gives me an opportunity to discuss any substitutions they may have made from my online order and reject them if necessary without any issues.
But I really prefer to go in myself. Heck, some weeks it's the most walking I do.

I did curbside pick up early in the pandemic (ironically, when case counts were lower than they are now, thanks Delta, but at least I'm vaccinated now and good masks are readily available). It was pretty awful and also depressing so I've gone back to doing speedruns of the small local grocery myself during low-density times.
I'm hoping it will begin to get better soon and not worse, so I don't have to decide to go back to curbside; I'd be told stuff was out of stock that actually was not, or I'd get wildly substituted stuff that I then had to refuse, which made me feel a little bit like the picky Karen.
I did Imperfect Foods for a few weeks and it was awesome but our Fed Ex here is so terrible that several boxes got "damaged" to the point they were "undeliverable" so I just canceled.
I do Amazon Fresh for a lot of staples because it is very convenient for me. I used it before the pandemic, and they have only gotten faster and better.
For fresh food -- meat, eggs, vegetables, some breads -- and specialty items, I go weekly to the same corner market I have been going to all along. They had mask requirements early, partially lifted them when CDC said it was okay (honor system) and follow local recommendations now. They aren't the mask police and I have seen a few defiantly unmasked people in there at various times, but nobody except them is looking for a fight, so it's not a problem.
